Food Resources During the COVID-19 Pandemic for Older Adults in
Arrowsic, Bath, Georgetown, Phippsburg, West Bath and Woolwich
Age-Friendly Communities of the Lower Kennebec.
This is not an all inclusive list. You may find more resources through your city/town hall or by calling 211.

Senior/Older Adult Hours at area grocery stores: (Includes those with compromised immune systems and pregnant women as well).
• Brackett’s Market IGA : Tuesday and Thursday from 7 to 8 am.
• Shaw’s: Tuesday and Thursday from 7 to 9 am.
• Hannaford’s: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7 to 8 am.

Grocery curbside pick-up: Bath Natural Market, located at 36 Centre Street, Bath, Maine, 207-442-8012, takes orders via email and calls you with a pick-up time Monday to Friday 10 am to 4 pm, email bathnaturalmarketorders@gmail.com. Centre St. Bakery is also doing curbside pick-up, call 389-4547. Also curbside pick up at the Fountain Ice Cream & Deli, Bath, 389-4239.


Meals on Wheels: Call 207-607-4406. Eligibility has been expanded due to additional funding. For disabled people over 18 and people who are age 60+ . Run by Spectrum Generations.


The Bath Area Food Pantry: Located at 807 Middle Street, Bath, Maine. For information, call 207-737-9289. Or email to: kfgates@gwi.net. Some limited delivery available. Donations welcome.
• For Groceries – pick-up at curb on Tuesday and Thursday from 5-7 pm.
• For bagged meals – Tuesdays from 12 to 2 pm. Bag contains 5 meals: one hot meal, another prepared meal and 3 frozen meals.


The Neighborhood Café, at Bath UCC, located at 798 Washington Street, Bath, Maine. Call ahead at 443-2187 to check capacity. To-go meal curbside Sunday at 4:30 pm. Call Jodi Malone for other food resources they sometimes have on hand. Email: jodimalone@hotmail.com. Donations welcome!


The Bath United Methodist Church, located at 340 Oak Grove Avenue, Bath, Maine. Call in advance 207-443-4707. To-go dinner on Wednesday from 4 to 5:30 pm. Can deliver in Bath. Donations welcome!


Bath Salvation Army Center, 25 Congress Street, Bath, Maine. Please call ahead to 207-443-3611 so a food box can be prepared for you. Curbside pick-up is available Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 10 am to 1 pm. Some delivery to vulnerable elders. Donations welcome.


Bath Farmer’s Market – Now out at the Waterfront Park in Bath, Maine. Every Saturday from 8:30 am to 12 noon. Contact http://bathfarmersmarket.com. Will take SNAP.


MerryMeeting Gleaner’s Sharing Table
– pre-bagged free vegetables on Mondays at Bath Library Park, 2-5 pm.
Delivery Service: Delivery sometimes limited at Shaw’s and Hannaford’s. It may still be available at Walmart for groceries. Call the stores to be sure. Don’t be afraid to ask a friend, neighbor or loved one for help.


Sagadahoc County Community Connection Check-In Program is a great way for homebound folks to stay connected via daily check-in calls from Sagadahoc County staff and get help with basic needs.Register with Grainne Shaw at 207-449-0185 or gshaw@sagadahoccountyme.gov.
